Entrance Fee

There is an entrance fee to visit the Na Pali Coast on foot, but it is not charged directly.

Access to the Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park is via the trailhead for the Kalalau Trail in adjoining Ha’ena State Park, and entrance fees are collected by Haena State Park.

The Haena State Park entrance fee allow you to visit both parks.

Visitors that not residents of Hawaii are charged an entry fee of $5.00 per person. If you will park your car in the parking lot at Haena State Park, there is a parking fee of $10.00 per standard vehicle.

Residents of Hawaii enter and park their cars for free with a Hawaii driver’s license or state ID.

If you are a non-resident visiting with a Hawaii resident in their vehicle, or you choose to walk or bike into Haena State park, you still need to pay the entry fee of $5.00 per non-resident person.

Entry passes, parking passes, and shuttle passes are issued online at this website when you make reservations. Reservations (or permits) are mandatory.

The shuttle pass, which includes the entry fee, costs $40.00 per person over 16 years of age, and $25.00 per youth for persons aged 4-15. Kids 3 and under are free on lap.
